The Aftermath

Now I have a beautiful baby girl named Evelyn and I couldn't be happier! I'm so glad I just happened to come across the video for Fertibella and I'm proud to add my name to the big list of Fertibella success stories.

As a side note, my friend Margaret also had trouble TTC so I recommended Fertibella to her. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it ended up taking her 6 to 7 months of taking Fertibella to become pregnant. I'm not sure what issue she had, but according to the website, Fertibella works on 7 different causes. We were so worried that it just wasn't going to work and she was, quite literally, days away from calling to say she needed to cancel when she got the good news that she FINALLY got pregnant! So I guess it goes to show that every body is different and you never know what might happen. I'm about to try for baby #2, so we'll see if I can do it on my own... if not, you know who I am going to call!

What Fertibella Is All About

I ordered my free trial directly from www.Fertibella.com. You'll see the Sacred Heart Mission and other places offering this fertility treatment as well, but I recommend going direct to avoid some of the "rip-offs" and "poor customer service" other women have complained about. You never know what you're getting when you buy from a third party entrepreneur.

Within a week, I received my shipment, which looked something like this:

I read the ingredients over, which included: angelica sinensis , glycyrrhiza, viburnum opulus, 125% folic acid, apis mellifica, 100% iron, 12% calicum , thyroidinum, progesterone, paeonia alba, panax gingseng, juniperus sabina, agnus castus, mixed citrus bioflavinoids, para aminobenzoic acid, zinc gluconate, and selenium.

I looked over the instructions: take 1 a day from the blue bottle with a meal. On month two, start the pink bottle. Easy enough! I took the pills, as directed, and was pleasantly surprised to find I had absolutely no side effects! I read that you can continue with Clomid and prenatal vitamins alongside Fertibella if you want, but I chose to just take this supplement since I had so many issues with everything else. Keep it simple, I figured!

I started to feel pretty good after a couple weeks of taking Fertibella. I guess I felt a little more frisky and exuberant. It's hard to say if it was something in those little pills or if my attitude had just changed because I felt I was finally doing something about my fertility and I was so hopeful it would work. Either way, the sex was great and I just "had that feeling" that things would work out for us.

I Googled and refreshed my memory on how to properly do the ovulation tests. You basically start counting your cycle on the FIRST day of bleeding to the DAY BEFORE bleeding begins on your next cycle. Mine is 21 days long, so I started testing for ovulation on day 5. Here's the chart I used for reference...

Your Cycle Length
Day to Begin Testing
21 daysDay 5
22 daysDay 6
23 daysDay 7
24 daysDay 8
25 daysDay 9
26 daysDay 10
27 daysDay 11
28 daysDay 12
29 daysDay 13
30 daysDay 14
31 daysDay 15
32 daysDay 16
33 daysDay 17
34 daysDay 18
35 daysDay 19
36 daysDay 20
37 daysDay 21
38 daysDay 22
39 daysDay 23

So, sure enough, I get the sign:

I knew it was time to start trying! The ovulation test filled me with such a feeling of joy, it's hard to describe. I had never taken an OPK before, but it seemed to me a sign that everything was going as planned so far.

A couple weeks later, I was finally brave enough to take my first pregnancy test...

And here you can clearly see the two vivid lines to tell me I was, in fact, pregnant! I ran around the house hooting and hollering like a mad woman. I manically drove right to my husband's work to tell him. After such waiting, a simple phone call just wouldn't do! I went to my parents', my sister's, my best friend's. I was so ecstatic that this had worked -- and thankfully, so fast! It had only been just over a month!

So after I calmed down, I called the Fertibella hotline to give them the news. Here's the tricky part (well, not really "tricky," but you know the fine print of anything can be)... if you become pregnant, you have to call customer care at (888) 363-9222 to get a return merchandise authorization code. You send them your used or unused bottles back, along with that code and they will offer you a refund if need be and cancel any subsequent shipments of the product to you. The ladies I spoke with were so nice and understanding, and they seemed genuinely excited for me. When all was said and done, I paid $79.90 for the whole treatment. I was never billed again and didn't have to worry about anything afterward. All in all, my experience with the company and the product were very positive and I couldn't wait to tell everyone I could how easy fertility treatments can be. Never mind the expensive hassle your doctor will instinctively recommend. ALL NATURAL is the way to go!

Once Upon A Time...

Once upon a time, I was a girl just like you. I had a lot of love to give, but was surprised to find out that you didn't .... POOF! .... become pregnant just like that. I imagined, since I knew my cycles and everything, it would just be a matter of doing the baby dance during that special week, then I'd take the test the following week and tell all my friends that I was about to become a proud mommy. I honestly never entertained the possibility that I could have some impedance to my pregnancy.

For months, I was still in denial, thinking it would just magically happen one of these times. We tried having sex every other day, thinking maybe I just miscalculated somehow. Every time my "friend" came, I cursed to high heaven.

I talked to my OBGYN about it and he ran a few tests... come to find out, I was not producing eggs! What the hell? So he put me on Clomid, which he said helps a lot of women. I read up on it before I took it... and started to panic... there was like a 6.9 % chance of having twins. I didn't want to be like Octo-Mom! Well, whatever... what will be will be, I finally conceded. I needed to have children. My husband wants them. I want them.

Unfortunately, about a week in, I was suffering. My stomach felt cramped constantly... I had the worst migraines ever and felt dizzy a lot... I was hot, crabby, nauseous. What WAS this Devil's potion my doctor gave me? I guess Clomid isn't known to give people fertility treatment side effects all the time, but it was kicking my ass. The doctor suggested I try HCG to help control my hormones, which seemed to be going insane. I was tired, bitchy and uncomfortable.

I came across this video online and wanted to know more...

Fertibella is a non-invasive fertility treatment that involves taking a daily supplement with a meal once a day for as long as it takes. They were offering a free 30-day trial for $5.95 shipping. If I wanted to keep the two-month supply, they would charge me $79.90 for the next two months' supply. Each kit comes with 2 Pill Bottles, 10 Free Ovulation Tests and 10 Pregnancy Tests. I figured it sounded like a great deal. After all, I paid $100 for a month of Clomid and $50/month for the HCG. Fertility treatments are not cheap! But what price can you put on achieving a pregnancy, if it all works? "If" is the key word, I know, but I was willing to give Fertibella a shot, since I read forums that said women didn't have side effects with Fertibella.
